MICHAEL Grogan
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - DEPARTMENT OF ARCHITECTURE, KANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE, PLANNING, & DESIGN
Michael Grogan, AIA is an Associate Professor of Architecture at Kansas State University. He joined the program in 2017 after teaching and practicing for ten years in Boston, with an additional prior decade of practice in a number of U.S. cities. He served as the AIA Kansas President in 2021, the AIA Flint Hills President in 2019, and is currently the Vice President of the preservation advocacy organization Plains Modern. During his time at Kansas State, he has won various design, teaching, and research grant awards, and has authored or co-authored seven published essays. Michael received his M.Arch degree from Yale University and a B.Arch from the University of Arkansas and is a registered architect in Kansas, Massachusetts, and New York. He is also a LEED accredited professional and a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
