Brush Creek is part of the overall green infrastructural system in Kansas City, Missouri. Prospect Avenue’s main vehicular cross streets, Brush Creek and Swope Parkway, lack a connection between the north and south side of Prospect Avenue. In addition, Brush Creek is underutilized. Our design addresses this disconnect from parts of Prospect Avenue and provides purpose to Brush Creek to become more desirable to users.
